The webinar “Air Cargo Digitalization in COVID-19 Times: Perspectives on Security” is part of a series on digitalization through which ICAO and partner UN agencies are promoting the concept of air cargo digitalization and raising awareness among States’ civil aviation administrations, customs authorities, economic regulators, and industry stakeholders of the fundamental role of air cargo transportation system as part of the broader supply chain that will drive global economic recovery. Tailored to the States in the ICAO Middle East region, this edition will focus on security aspects of air cargo digitalization—both physical and cyber: What challenges are on the horizon as COVID-19 urges more rapid digitalization? How are UN standards are equipped to address those challenges? How can stakeholders most effectively ensure a secure supply chain through digitalization?
